Acting Globally
CNU alumnus Angelia Sanders started her own nonprofit organization, Tamani Africa, working with rural African communities to create sustainable programs in the fight against HIV / AIDS. Sanders has also been working for the Carter Center in South Sudan on its Guinea Worm Eradication Program and Trachoma Program.
(Class) Size Matters
Our class sizes are much smaller than most state universities. Nearly half of all CNU classes have fewer than 19 students.
Picture a Winner
Canon USA and Canon Virginia partnered with CNU to create the Canon Leadership Scholars Program, which grants selective students a $5,000 merit scholarship for four years, for a total of $20,000. Students in the program have the opportunity to study abroad at Oxford University.
Musical Adventures
January 1, 2012, the incomparable Marching Captains will represent CNU in the world-renowned London New Year's Day Parade. The 2012 New Year's Day Parade promises to be the most exciting in the history of Great Britain, celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the beginning of London's Olympic year.
Champs at More than Sports
For five consecutive years, students in the Small Business Institute (SBI) program at CNU's Joseph W. Luter, III School of Business and Leadership have won top honors in a national business consulting competition.
Global Service
