Academic Building Program
In the Fall of 2006, a team of faculty and administrators began working on the concept and design for the new academic buildings on campus. Members of the Programming Committee are:

The architectural team of two firms, Glave & Holmes Associates of Richmond, VA and Lord, Aeck, Sargent Architecture of Atlanta, GA are working with the entire programming committee and smaller subgroups to define building plans for the academic buildings and place these buildings within a campus landscape that defines the core academic focus of the university surrounding a “great lawn”. The exterior design of the buildings will reflect the architectural Neo-Georgian theme of the library and the student union buildings.
