- Academic Status: Please be advised that Academic Standings have been reviewed for Spring 2008 semester. It is critical that you review your academic status on your CNU Live account at your earliest opportunity and assess any changes to your Fall 2008 schedule of classes.

- Immunization Requirement: For the protection of our students and the university community, CNU's immunization policy, following national guidelines and Virginia law, requires that all entering full-time students submit a completed Certificate of Immunization to the Office of the Registrar. The intent of this policy is to provide a healthy environment for our students in which they can live and learn. We are particulary concerned at this time because of the recent outbreak of mumps on college campuses. The Office of the Registrar has sent reminder letters and emails to students with incomplete immunization paperwork.
In the past, there has been some confusion about satisfying this policy. To comply with state policy, students must provide a completed Certificate of Immunization form, have it signed by a licensed health professional, and submit it to the Office of the Registrar as soon as possible. Please be reminded that incomplete forms do not satisfy the state’s requirement.
- Second Year Writing Courses: Effective with Fall Semester 2006, all second year writing courses will be listed as ULLC 223. This replaces ENGL 223, RSTD 223, and PHIL 223; if you have already successfully completed ENGL 223, RSTD 223, or PHIL 223, you do not need to register for ULLC 223.
- Changes to the Web Schedule of Classes: Course descriptions and other helpful course information is available by clicking on the hyperlink of the subject and the course. A 'pop up box' will appear displaying additional information about the course such as the department teaching the course, a special course title or description, prerequisites, registration restrictions, and co-requisites.

Are you taking or want to take a 223 course? All 223 courses (i.e. ENGL 223, PHIL 223, RSTD 223 etc.), no matter which department offers it, is considered the same course. It would be a duplication of credit if more than one 223 course is taken during an academic career. If you are currently enrolled in a 223 course, please check your transcript for any duplication of credit. Please contact the Academic Advising Center for any questions at 594-8763.
