No. 19 Women's Soccer Shuts Out Division II Chowan, 4-0

RICHMOND, VA - Christopher Newport's women's soccer team, ranked 19th in the nation in the latest NSCAA poll, shutout Division II Chowan 4-0 Sunday night at Striker Park.

Freshman Megan Conheeney led the offensive attack with 2 goals and 1 assist. Brittney Shumate and Stefani Brown each scored once for the Captains.

CNU out-shot the Hawks, 22-0.

Christopher Newport improves to 3-0 on the year. The Captains open their home schedule on Wednesday as they host Mary Washington at 7 pm.
