WOMEN'S SOCCER SUFFERS FIRST LOSS, 3-1, TO SALISBURY ST.

  NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The women's soccer team saw its perfect season come to an end in  a 3-1 loss to Salisbury St. Tuesday night at Captains Field.

  The Captains fell behind 2-0 at halftime to also-unbeaten Salisbury St. After the Sea Gulls made it 3-0 in the second half Shelley Rusnak got CNU on the board with an assist to Becky Cheeley.

  Tinay Swiney made two saves as Salisbury St. led in shots, 7-5. The Sea Gulls are now 10-0-2, while CNU slips to 8-1.

  The Captains travel to Meredith Friday.
