Manager - Planning and Logistics Donald E. Chase (Don) is the Director of Planning and Logistics for Stihl, Inc. He has been with Stihl for 30 years in various capacities including Production Planning, Materials, and Logistics Management. Additionally, Don served on the Steering Committee to implement SAP – Stihl’s group-wide ERP software. Don is a graduate of Old Dominion University where he earned a BS in Management Information Systems and a Masters in Business Administration. In addition to serving on the Advisory Board for the Joseph W. Luter II School of Business, Don is the Treasurer of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Chesapeake, Virginia. Don is a member of the American Production and Inventory Control Society. He has earned the Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification and actively teaches certification classes. Don is happily married to Kelly Chase and has one energetic son, Thomas. Don and his family reside in Chesapeake.
