Vice President & CFO David L. DiPersio (Dave) is the Vice President/Chief Financial Officer for Colonna’s Shipyard, Inc., and affiliated companies. Dave joined Colonna’s in 2002. Prior to 2002 Dave spent the majority of the previous 15 years with Tarmac America, Inc. based in Norfolk, VA. Dave is a 1985 graduate of Christopher Newport College with a B.S. in Business Management with a double concentration in Accounting and Economics. Dave is also a graduate of the Mason School of Business at The College of William and Mary, earning a Masters of Business Administration degree. In addition, Dave holds a private pilot’s license. Dave has held numerous civic and professional positions throughout the Hampton Roads area. Past affiliations include, Kiwanis, Lunch Buddy – Norfolk Public Schools, Board of Directors- Southside Boys and Girls Club, Institute of Management Accountants, National Association of Credit Management, and former Deacon at Hidenwood Presbyterian Church. Dave was also involved with various youth sports as a coach in Basketball, Baseball, and Soccer. Currently Dave is involved with the Virginia Ship Repair Association as a member of the Finance Committee. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the CNU Alumni Society. He currently is a member of the CNU Athletic Department’s Captains Crew. Dave has been married to his wife Angela for 25 years and they have two children. Angela is a nurse with extensive experience in ICU and Oncology. Stephen (22) is a graduate of ECPI where he earned an AS degree in Network Security. Casey (20) is a CNU Junior (Business major) and a dancer/performer at Busch Gardens and is currently an intern in the Human Resources Dept at Canon. Dave resides in Newport News with his family.
