Chairman of the Board General Richard Hawley, USAF (Ret.) is currently a consultant for Northrop Grumman Corporation and serves as a director on the board of Astronautics Corporation of America. He also serves as a Senior Fellow at the Joint Forces Staff College in Norfolk and chairs the Air Force Association’s Force Capabilities Committee. General Hawley served in the United States Air Force for 35 years and retired as Commander of Air Combat Command in 1999. He and his wife Mary Ellen live in Newport News. Their son, Richard, graduated in 2002 from Christopher Newport University and resides in Newport News. Another son, Christopher, resides in Roswell, Georgia.
