Research interests: budgetary participation, behavioral and cross-cultural accounting issues, accounting pedagogical issues
 
Profile:  Dr. Frucot has been a member of the CNU faculty since Fall 1998. Prior to coming to CNU, she was on the faculty at Rutgers University and Syracuse University. Her research has been published in The Accounting Review, Issues in Accounting Education, The Journal of Accounting Education, the Managerial Auditing Journal, Perceptual and Motor Skills, the Journal of Accounting, Ethics and Public Policy, and Asia- Pacific Journal of Accounting and presented at academic meetings. She has also served as a reviewer for various journals. She is a member of the American Accounting Association, Beta Alpha Psi, Beta Gamma Sigma, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR). She serves on the Supervisory Committee of the Virginia Educators’ Credit Union.
