Profile: The 2011/20012 academic year marks Gabriele Lingenfelter’s seventh year in the Luter School of Business.  Prior to CNU, she taught for Dickinson College, Shippensburg University, Cameron University, and the University of Maryland’s European program.  Ms. Lingenfelter served for four years on the Audit and Attestation Subcommittee of the AIPCA and was recently chosen to serve on the Financial Accounting and Reporting Subcommittee.  She is also on the Editorial Taskforce and the Educators’ Symposium Taskforce of the Virginia Society for CPAs.  At CNU she runs the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Program with student volunteers, preparing over 200 tax return each tax season.  Additionally, she is the faculty advisor of the Accounting Club and a Core Advisor.  She is an active member of the Society for Case Research and has published numerous auditing related case studies.
