Profile:  Dr. McMahon teaches courses that focus on the psychological aspects of business. Her research on business ethics and the ethical decision making process has been published in the Journal of Business Ethics and Ethics and Information Technology. Before becoming an academic, Dr. McMahon had an extensive career in television advertising sales and sales management. In reverse chronological order, she was a sales manager at WTVR-TV/Richmond, VA; WXIN-TV/Indianapolis; WDEF-TV/Chattanooga; WCAU-TV/Philadelphia; and WCBD-TV/Charleston. She was an account executive at CBS National Sales and Petry Television in Chicago, WISH-TV/Indianapolis,  and at PGW Television in both Chicago and Dallas and was named one of the "Outstanding Media Saleswomen of the Year," by Madison Avenue magazine in October 1986. She spent a short time as a media buyer at J. Walter Thompson in Dallas, and entered the field as a sales assistant at Petry Television and WNEW-TV in New York.
