Profile: Financial and general manager with a total of twenty-seven years of experience.  Eight-year period from 1976-1984 included operational and marketing management experience with a Fortune 500 company, Anheuser-Busch Inc., in progressively more responsible positions. Experience obtained in retail management, personnel management, purchasing, inventory control, budgeting, capital acquisition, marketing, and presentation skills. 

Thirteen-year period from 1984-1997 included financial management experience in business and governmental finance in progressively more responsible positions.

Certified Public Account licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia, 1987 to the present.

Public accounting and business experience obtained in tax return preparation, financial statement preparation and analysis, audit, budget and business plan preparation, computerized information reporting systems, capital management, insurance management, procurement, debt financing, human resource management, and presentation and communication of financial information to management and other interested parties.

Sample of job experience titles: Controller and Director of Operations, Chief Financial Officer, Director for Budget and Finance, Assistant to the Director of Marketing Promotions, and Manager, Wholesale Operations. 

Prior to CNU: Full time instructor, Old Dominion University, specializing in cost accounting from 2002-2005.
