General Rhawleyichard Hawley, USAF, Retired, is currently a consultant to the defense industry and the Department of Defense. He retired in July 1999 after a 35-year career in the U.S. Air Force, where he served as Commander, Air Combat Command from 1996 to 1999 and as Commander, Allied Air Forces Central Europe and Commander, U.S. Air Forces Europe from 1995 to 1996. General Hawley holds a Bachelor's degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy and a Master's degree in Economics from Georgetown University. He serves on the Boards of Astronautics Corporation of America, DYNCORP International, McNeil Technologies, Enterprise Electronics Corporation, Continental Electronics Corporation and Defense Forecasts International, as well as the advisory board of Veritas Capital.
