Vaccination is always a good insurance policy for reducing influenza and the serious complications associated with the disease. But keep in mind that receiving the vaccination is not a guarantee that you wouldn't still get the flu.
With or without vaccination there are still other factors in the equation of staying well. You have the power and choice to prevent contracting the flu and any other illness. These "germs" are always around us. Commit yourself to learning how to keep your immune system strong and how the flu virus and any other virus or bacteria are contracted and spread. Together we can control communicable disease at CNU and in our community. Knowledge is power.
