Kevin Ososkie joined the Christopher Newport University family in 1995 after twenty years of service to his country in the United States Air Force. For sixteen of those twenty years Kevin served in the Nutritional Medicine Services as a Dietary Manager at various Air Force bases around the country.

As Manager of Dining Services, Kevin showed exceptional leadership, innovation, and camaraderie with the CNU community leading to his promotion to Director of Dining Services in 2004.

Kevin actively works with the Student Government's Dining Services Committee to address students' concerns and make proactive changes to meet the needs of the CNU community. In addition, Kevin is always eager to meet with students, faculty, and staff to listen to their ideas and suggestions. Kevin's "open door" policy and "dine with the director" program has led to various improvements including "healthy heart" meal options, additional theme meals, and extended hours of operation for our students' convenience.
