Memorial Concert
In honor of Tommy Gosser - son of Dr. Linda Manning and Prof. David Gosser - the members of Lambda Pi Eta, the Communication Department, and Panhellenic groups at CNU help to raise money at an annual memorial concert! In addition to multiple raffles, competitive games, delicious food, henna tattoos, and more - local bands and on-campus musical groups offer their talents. The money is donated to CureSearch, the world's largest childhood cancer research organization.

LAMBDA PI ETA is the official communication honor society of the National Communication Association (NCA). LPH was founded in 1985 at the University of Arkansas. It then became a part of the National Communication Association in 1988, and official honor society of the NCA in 1995.
The Sigma Kappa chapter at CNU was founded in 2004 by Dr. Michaela D.E. Meyer. Our chapter's 18 charter members were inducted in Spring 2005. Current faculty advisors are Dr. Ron Von Burg and Dr. Kathleen Kuehn.
Lambda Pi Eta represents what Aristotle described in his book "Rhetoric" as the three ingredients of persuasion: Logos (lambda) meaning logic, Pathos (pi) relating to emotion, and Ethos (eta) defined as character credibility and ethics.
