Financial aid is available for students who are enrolled in a study abroad program approved by their advisor or department and the Office of the Registrar.
Both federal and state funds are available for students who qualify for financial aid. Because the cost of study abroad programs is frequently higher than the cost of attending CNU, our office can increase your cost of attendance to help make additional funds, especially loan funds available. However, some students may find that federal and state financial aid is insufficient to cover all of the costs associated with their semester abroad. Students may wish to consider an alternative loan to help fill the gap between financial aid and their costs. Students planning on studying abroad should contact their counselor as soon as possible. To release your financial aid, we will need certain information from you, including the cost of your program and proof of enrollment in your program.
