2008-09 KAPPA PI NOTES
AND MEETING INFORMATION
Looking forward to our continual progress on everything in the Fraternity,
and I hope all is well with all of your classes and extra-curriculars! Here are some important announcements:
*October Monthly Meeting: Tuesday, October 7, 5:00 P.M. in the Painting Studio!
-Attendance is not mandatory for non-officers, but it would be nice to see those of you who could not make it to our last meeting!
-OFFICERS: Attendance is MANDATORY, if you cannot attend for some reason (Class, illness, etc.) talk to me or Dr. Moran in person, as well as send an e-mail to (kappapicnu@yahoo.com)
*Other Activities Planned for this semester: Kappa Pi T-shirt Workshop and Art Movie Night in the Falk Gallery
- These are activities we will discuss at the monthly meeting with the help of some KP members!

ELIGIBILITY:
Any undergraduate member of an active chapter of Kappa Pi International Honorary Art Fraternity is eligible to apply.
TO APPLY:
Applicants must send a CD, photographs or slides of five works of art (B/S or color, minimum size 3x5, maximum size 8x10) to

Two letters of recommendation must be sent directly to the executive office from art faculty members and/or department chairman.
If you wish photos, slides or CD returned, you must include a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
All media are encouraged, and will be considered on its individual artistic merit by a scholarship committee.
All materials must reach the scholarship chairman by July 1st
PUBLICATIONS
Articles or pertinent research by faculty / local artists / students is solicited for publication. Articles should be ready for publication.
If accompanied by photographs, please be sure to mark them with identification and cut-line, if any. If you wish photos returned, enclose self addressed stamped envelope.

was held December 7, 2007 in the Falk Gallery,
Ferguson Center for the Arts.

International Honorary Art Fraternity

Zeta Alpha Tau Chapter
On December 2, 2005 Kappa Pi President Ron Koehler installed the Department of Fine Art and Art History Zeta Alpha Tau Chapter of Kappa Pi. Charter members are Jenn McDuffee, Leanne Miller, Brian LaBarr, Kat Edell, Tina Priddy, Liz Minshall, Allison Simon, Hannah Marshall, Estelle Bozeman, Marianne Ward, Chad Hill, Julie Perrot, Kat Romanish, Glenda Lanehart, Valerie Pitman and Shaun Whiteside. Faculty advisors are ArtCNU Professor Caroline Garrett and University Librarian Mary Sellen. Kappa Pi is an international honorary art fraternity with the purpose of uniting artists who care about art and its role in life. This fraternity bonds conscientious artists together to form a unit which is influential in the art department as well as in the community.
