Want to get fit but not sure where to start?  Then consider Personal Training!  Through one-on-one motivation, guidance and instruction, a Personal Trainer can help you reach your fitness goals!  Trainers design an exercise program tailored to you while incorporating your goals, fitness level and experience.  CNU students, faculty, staff and eligible members may purchase personal training sessions.
Your trainer holds a current national fitness certification (AFAA, ACE, ACSM or NSCA).  S/he is qualified to write an exercise program for you based on your goals, fitness level, experience and available time.  S/he will refrain from offering any advice, medical or otherwise, that is outside his/her scope of practice.

CNU Students:

1 session = $30

2 sessions = $25 per session ($50 total)

3 or more sessions = $20 per session ($60 or more total)

CNU Faculty/Staff/Eligible Members:

1 session = $35

2 sessions = $30 per session ($60 total)

3 or more sessions = $25 per session ($75 or more total)

Payment arrangements will be made after the initial fitness assessment and will be based on the number of sessions you decide you would like.  Payment may be made with Captain's Cash, cash, check, MasterCard or VISA.

Complete the medical history and wellness/lifestyle forms.  The information will be reviewed by the Trieshmann Health and Fitness Pavilion Director.  If a physician's clearance is required, one will be requested from you at that time.  Upon clearance for exercise, a fitness assessment appointment will be scheduled with a personal trainer.  Then, you will pay for the number of sessions you would like, and your trainer will coordinate a workout schedule with you.  If you have any questions, please contact us at 757.594.7882 or fitness@cnu.edu
