Graduate Record Exam (GRE)

Analytical Writing                                         

Present Your Perspective on an Issue 45 min
Analyze an Argument 30 min
   Verbal 30 questions 30 min
   Quantitative 28 questions 45 min

The General Test is comprised of 3 sections.  The cumulative score from the Verbal and Quantitative sections will be considered for admission purposes.

PRAXIS

The Praxis I and II assessments are nationally normed academic skills and subject specialty tests required for Virginia teaching licensure.

Registration

  • Students planning on taking the Praxis I exam on the computer (Computerized PPST) must register at least 2 -3 weeks in advance in order to have a testing station.
  • Fee waivers are available in cases of financial hardship. For more details see the Praxis Registration Bulletin.
