- Our graduate faculty work closely with you sharing their knowledge and research skills and support you throughout your program.
- You'll have access to learning and collaboration with two national laboratories - NASA Langley Research Center and Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility.
- You'll gain field experience through research projects conducted at local (e.g. Hoffler Creek Nature Preserve in Portsmouth, and aquatic research in near by Lake Maury), regional (e.g. Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge) and national (e.g. Death Valley National Park) as well as international locations.
- For our teachers, you will work in partnership with an award-winning school district, Newport News Public Schools.
