The Geese Fountain in Saunders Plaza on campus was designed so the water flow sounds like the flapping of wings. Both the Geese Fountain and the bald eagle statue (called "Spilling the Wind") located in front of Potomac Hall were sculpted by local artists of Turner Sculpture, located in Onley, Virginia, on the Eastern Shore.
