The CNU Provost, Mark Padilla, and Associate Director of ITS for Academic Computing, Shannon Phillips, are pleased to announce CNU’s migration to a new, CNU faculty-recommended course management system this Fall. The Blackboard system is a robust course management tool that will allow us to move to one, centrally supported online course system.
Scholar (Blackboard LMS) Consulting Available
Faculty who are familiar with the Blackboard system or have already gone through the training above are welcome to request a one-on-one session with an Instructional Designer/Technologist. Appointments are available 10am-4pm weekdays. Please schedule at least 2 business days in advance by contacting Shannon Phillips at shannon.phillips@cnu.edu.

Faculty WebCT and Moodle Access
Faculty will be able to use the links below to access and harvest their materials until Monday, November 17. The log in pages may appear different, but the ID and password will be the same you have used in the past. Student access will be disabled this semester.
CNU Live
The University's enterprise resource management system continues to support through
its self-service function course enrollments, course rosters, web forms
for reporting grades, information about your students, and departmental
financial information for department chairs. It is accessed through MyCNU.
Classroom Technology
Faculty members should contact Barbara Copley ( bcopley@cnu.edu ),
Faculty Support Coordinator, to be trained on classroom technology
usage. You may call her at 594-7753 to set up an appointment for
training.

Faculty Support Center
ITS is pleased to announce the creation of a new faculty support unit aimed at providing help to faculty utilizing a wide variety of instructional technology. The Center will focus on pedagogical practices in the 21st Century as they relate to instructional technology. We will arrange instructional technology consultation appointments, provide walk-in help with our Scholar/Blackboard system, and provide support an equipment for those creating instructional media objects. Please contact the Center at FSC@cnu.edu if you would like to take advantage of these services.
