Submissions are now being accepted for the Winter 2012 and Summer 2013 issues!
Student submission guidelines:
- The submission should be between 2,500 and 5,000 words (see separate submission guidelines for faculty, staff, and case study submissions).
- The submission (including references) should conform to APA format as seen in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (5th Edition).
- All text, including references, is double-spaced in Times New Roman 12 point font with one-inch margins.
- The title page includes complete contact information for all authors, including mailing addresses, email addresses, phone and fax numbers.
- The abstract is 200 words or less.
- There is nothing in your manuscript file other than the title page that identifies the authors. Be sure to erase manuscript "properties" (under FILE in Microsoft Word) prior to submission.
- Completed submission forms are given, mailed, or faxed to the MLR office. Appropriate address and fax numbers are listed at the bottom of this page.

Staff submission guidelines:
- Staff submissions will be reviewed only by faculty MLR reviewers.
- Staff submissions should be no longer than 4,500 words.
- Submissions should follow all remaining general submission guidelines.
Faculty submission guidelines:
- Faculty submissions will be reviewed only by MLR faculty reviewers.
- Faculty submissions should be no longer than 6,000 words.
- Submissions should follow all remaining general submission guidelines.
Case Study Guidelines:
- Case studies should be written by undergraduate students only. Case studies written by faculty or staff will be considered a faculty/staff submission.
Review Process:
All manuscripts go through a peer review conducted process by students and faculty. Following their assessment, submissions are either accepted "as is" or returned to the author with comments and suggestions for revisions. Revised manuscripts may then be resubmitted for review; manuscripts not accepted "as is" or for revision and resubmission will be rejected.
