Admission

You should:

• Submit your completed application, including all items listed below, to Graduate Studies, by February 1 of your Junior year.

• Have completed at least 65 undergraduate credits. See program requirements.

• Hold a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

• Submit a transcript printed from CNULive.

• Have and submit passing scores on the Praxis I exam OR have SAT or ACT equivalent scores (SAT score of 11 or higher on math and reading, with at least 530 in each; ACT composite score of at least 24, with math score of at least 22 and English plus Reading score of at least 46) *Praxis I Test Tips.

• Log In to CNU LIVE to send 2 letters of recommendation electronically, one from a professor in your major.
  Music Majors: One of your letters of recommendation must be from your program advisor. 
• If your professor or reference requests a printed form for the Letter of Recommendation, please download and deliver this version.

• Completed application, including essay questions and resume.

• Note: The application fee is waived for 5-year program applicants.

• Have a 3.0 cumulative undergraduate GPA (MAT with Licensure program) or a 2.8 cumulative GPA (Licensure-Only program).

• Hold a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area from an accredited college or university.

• Submit official transcripts of all coursework.

• Have and submit passing scores on the Praxis I exam *Praxis I Test Tips.

• Log In to CNU LIVE to send 3 letters of recommendation, including one from a professor, if possible.

• Complete the application, including essay questions and resume.
