High School Math Contest

The Fourth Annual CNU Regional High School Mathematics Contest was held on December 6, 2003. Seventy-eight students pre-registered, forming 19 teams from 9 different schools. Unfortunately, the flu season hit just before the contest, so only 66 students were able to participate. Schools that sent teams were:

New Horizons Governor's School (5 teams) Ocean Lakes High School (3 teams)
Atlantic Shores Christian School (2 teams) Hampton High School (2 teams)
King William High School (2 teams) Warwick High School (2 teams)
Denbigh Baptist Christian School (1 team) Lancaster High School (1 team)
Woodside High School (1 team)  

This was the first year that Hampton High School and Atlantic Shores Christian School participated in the contest.

There were two parts to the contest:  40 multiple choice questions answered individually and 12 questions answered by teams of four students.
