Our Campus Events

We sponsor many events each year that include majors and non-majors. Some of these events include:

  • International Slide Night
    • Each fall the department hosts an evening of presentations by students who have studied abroad in the past year.
  • Latin Day
    • The department collaborates with the Tidewater Classical Symposium to host over 100 students from fourteen local schools.
  • Departmental Honors Reception
    • The department honors its graduates each year during Commencement Week.
