Timothy Owner

Tim Owner earned the Bachelor of Music degree from the Canberra School of Music at the Australian National University and an Honors Bachelor of Music degree from the Newcastle Conservatorium at the University of Newcastle. He earned the Master of Music degree from the famed School of Music at Northwestern University, where he studied with world-renowned trombone pedagogue Charles Vernon, among others, and served as a graduate assistant. A native Australian, Mr. Owner has performed with the Chicago Symphony, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra, and the Chicago Civic Orchestra. He serves currently as Second Trombone in The Virginia Symphony and teaches applied trombone at CNU.
