“Globalization”
Taught by Michelle Vachris and Gemma Kotula, middle school and high school teachers were introduced to classroom lessons involving globalization . All teachers received appropriate tested curriculum complete with lesson plans. Special guest Dr. Russell Roberts gave a talk on the Comparative Advantage and distributed signed copies of his book The Choice: A parable of Free Trade and Protectionism.

“Teaching the Ethical Foundations of Economics”
Taught by Michelle Vachris and Gemma Kotula, participants were introduced to classroom lessons based on the tradition of Adam Smith on the important role that ethics and character play in a market economy and how, in turn, markets influence ethical behavior. Designed for teachers in grades 6-12. All teachers received appropriate tested curriculum complete with lesson plans in the National Council for Economic Education book by Jonathan Wight and John Morton.

"Exploring Capitalism"
Taught by Michelle Vachris and Gemma Kotula, participants explored Capitalism and alternative economic systems as well as the importance of property rights and economic freedom. Designed for teachers in grades 6-12. All teachers received appropriate videos, informative CD's and tested curriculum complete with lesson plans.
