Paideia (pi day ah) is the classical Greek education of liberal learning, which was believed to develop the intellectual, moral and aesthetic capacities.

The CNU Undergraduate & Graduate Research Council, following the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR), defines undergraduate research as, "An inquiry or investigation conducted by an undergraduate student that makes an original intellectual or creative contribution to the discipline."

We are proud to announce the 11th Annual Paideia conference, Saturday, April 14, 2012.

Paideia is the annual campus celebration of our students' research, creativity, and scholarship across the entire spectrum of the liberal arts & sciences.

The conference will again provide opportunities for poster and paper presentations by students. In addition, we want to include more for the fine and performing arts with potential opportunities for installations, exhibitions, and even performances.

Our on-line conference registration and submission will be available during the spring semester of 2012. The deadline for submissions has yet to be determined. Look for further announcements in early 2012.
