Academic Program in Communication Studies
Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies - full curriculum (pdf)
In addition to requiring successful completion of the liberal learning curriculum,
the Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies requires the following courses:
- COMM 201, 249, 250
- COMM 211, 325, 330, 345, 450, 452W
- Eighteen additional credit hours in COMM
courses; at least 12 hours must be at the 300-400 levels

In courses applied toward the major, students must achieve a minimum grade point average of 2.0. Students may have no more than 2 grades below C- in the major.
In
addition to this coursework, students are encouraged to
take a body of courses in a secondary area of interest
related to professional or vocational goals.
Minor in Communication Studies - full curriculum (pdf)
The minor program in Communication Studies requires eighteen
credits: COMM 201, 249, 250 and nine additional
credits in 300-400 level courses in Communication with a
minimum grade point average of 2.0. Students may have no more than 2 grades below C- in the minor.
