Sponsored Progams Staff Anne M. Pascucci, MPA, CRA Anne M. Pascucci, Director of Sponsored Programs, Nearly 25 years in Research Administration and Research Development with institutions of higher education and non-profits. Anne holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Siena College, a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Rhode Island, and a Certificate in Nonprofit Studies from Rhode Island College. She is a Certified Research Administrator and graduate of the Leadership Development Institute of the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) as well as the Higher Education Resource Services (HERS) Management Institute. Anne has presented at the European-American University Forum (EAUF) in Cracow Poland in 2006, the national and regional level for NCURA, and the International Society for Research Administrators. She is a member of NCURA, the International Society of Research Administrations (SRA), and the National Organization of Research Development Professionals (NORDP). She seeks to enhance the sponsored programs and research environment at Christopher Newport University and to be an asset to all faculty and administrators seeking external funding. Debbie Gaudreau, CRA Debbie Gaudreau is the Assistant Director of the Sponsored Programs Office and has over 30 years’ experience in Research Administration and is a Certified Research Administrator. She comes to us from the University of Connecticut Health Center, Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, where she gained experience in both pre and post-award administration. Debbie has worked directly with medical researchers, faculty and departmental administrators on research proposals, the majority being from NIH (National Institutes of Health). She is a member of the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA). Debbie is excited to be a part of CNU and working with faculty on finding funding opportunities and submitting successful proposals.
