Movies and Television Copyright Policies (DOC)

The purpose of this statement is to educate and outline options for CNU students and student organizations regarding the use of movies and television in programming events.
Bon and Campfire Policy (DOC) -
This form provides guidelines and procedures for clubs with regard to bonfires or campfires on the CNU campus.

The Conference Fund is available to any student attending a conference related to an area of study, organization or personal advancement.

Organizations wishing to open an on-campus account must meet with the OSA Business Manager. The office is located in DSU 330.
MARKETING/PROMOTION RESOURCES
Plasma Screen Announcement (PDF)

Only recognized student organizations may advertise on the plasma screens. Requests must be received no less than five working days prior to start of announcement. Requests may be turned in to the Office of Student Activities (SU 330).

SGA Campus Posting Policy (PDF)
This posting policy governs all recognized student organizations, members of the University community and off-campus organizations who decide to advertise on campus at Christopher Newport.

This document outlines what is needed in order to properly post information in the David Student Union.
Student Union Banner Policy (PDF)
This form is required for organizations that want to hang banners to advertise events in the David Student Union.
ORGANIZATION ADVISORS
Advisor Contract

Every recognized student organization is required to have a faculty/staff advisor. If you change advisors, please have him/her fill out this form and return to the Office of Student Activities.

Student Organization Resource Center

The Student Organization Resource Center is located in the Student Union and is available to recognized student organizations to use for promoting and organizing events. Services available include:

Two computers with printer
Large rolls of banner paper
Ellison die-cut machine w/
stencils (including Greek letters)
Sticker maker
Poster Markers
Fax machine*
Laminator
Hole punch
Paper cutter
Button Machine
Resource books

*In order to use the copier or fax machine, organizations must obtain an account number from the OSA Office Manager.
