Get ready to Set Sail on your journey to becoming a Captain at CNU!

Setting Sail
All First year students are required to attend Setting Sail, a two day Orientation Program. The 2012 dates for Setting Sail are as follows:

Session 1: June 18-19
Session 2: June 21-22
Session 3: June 25-26
Session 4: June 28-29

Students that are accepted into the President's Leadership Program must sign up for Session 1 or Session 3 so they can participate in Leadership Adventure immediately following Setting Sail.

Students select dates, register, and pay through the Admitted Student System once they have received their acceptance packet from CNU Admissions.

Welcome Week
All first year students are required to return to campus for one week before classes begin for "part 2" of Orientation. During Welcome Week, you will get to meet your core advisor, get to know your residence hall, participate in workshops, and explore the fun things to do on campus and around town.

Welcome Week begins with Freshman Move-in. Note: Welcome Week is for first year students only.

Transfer Students
All transfer students are required to attend Changing Tides Orientation Program in August. Parents and guests are welcome to attend.

Parent Programs
Parents are invited to participate in Setting Sail as we have a parent program designed specifically for YOU! Meet with our Deans, faculty, and other staff to hear about how CNU will support you and your student. Enjoy spending time on our campus and getting all of your questions answered. Students are able to register you for Setting Sail through the Admitted Student System. Note: There are no parent programs during Leadership Adventure (for PLP Students) or Welcome Week
