This week long program provides you with educational and social opportunities. We want you to be successful and will show you the resources we have to do just that!
You will learn even more about the University, including your residence hall, spend time with your roommates, meet with your core advisor, and participate in workshops focused on helping you be a successful CNU Captain!
All first-year students are REQUIRED and EXPECTED to attend all Welcome Week activities (unless otherwise excused). Attendance will be taken at random so be sure to be there and be on time! You will need to have your ID at all times to access buildings, rooms and meal locations.
Fall athletes and Marching Captains: Please work with your coach / director so you know what events are required of you during this week.
* Welcome Week is for students only. There are no parent programs during this time.CNU has made a commitment to your education and has set goals for what you should know and what you should be able to do with what you know when you graduate. Assessment is a way of evaluating our efforts toward that commitment through the use of tests, performance evaluations, and surveys.
The University engages in a number of assessment processes in order to gauge the effectiveness of its educational programs and administrative operations. These processes may require students to participate in examinations, surveys, interviews, or other information- gathering activities that are not part of any specific course.
