-
Requests for the services of our professional photographer should be made one week in advance.
-
When scheduling a photo shoot, please provide the subject matter (number of people, the need for props, etc.); the time, date, and location of the shoot (allowing sufficient time for set-up); and how the photos ultimately will be used.
-
Requests to use our digital cameras should be made one week in advance to Jesse Hutchinson at jesse.hutcheson@cnu.edu. Departments requesting use of cameras are responsible for any equipment damaged while on loan and downloading and storing all images.
As a general rule, CNU does not obtain a Photography Consent and Release for photographs taken in a public venue or at a public event. This includes all public spaces across campus from exterior walkways, entryways, atriums, sports fields and classrooms.
However, if an individual is photographed for a specific story, profile, marketing or advertising initiative, whether for print or electronic distribution, a Photography Consent and Release will be obtained by the University photographer and the Office of Communications and Public Relations.
Please note that the University’s policy is to restrict the use of any photograph to the representation, marketing or promotion of University activities only. The University can deny any request to use a photograph.
