The Writing Center can help you best if you come early in the writing process-try not to wait until the day before your essay is due!
To make an appointment with a writing consultant, send us:
· Your name
· Your email address
· Your telephone number
· When you'd like to visit (give us a day/date/time and an alternate)
It would also help if you could tell us in your email:
· What course your paper is for
· The name of your instructor
· How long your essay is
· What you'd like to work on
We'll either call you or email you a confirmation of your appointment by our next business day.
To make the most of your appointment, bring:
· Your assignment sheet and course texts
· Any writing you've already done (it helps if you already have a draft, but it's okay if you don't)
· Any previous drafts with instructor's comments on them
